Prayer is the practice of the presence of God. It is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made. Prayer is the place of admitting our need, of adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God. Prayer is the needful practice of the Christian. Prayer is the exercise of faith and hope. Prayer is the privilege of touching the heart of the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8

| "My brother in law was just moved to ICU -intensive care (6/18 1:50pm) from being in the ER all day. He began bleeding internally this morning, thowing up blood and clots... then at the ER bleeding through his nose. He is losing lots of blood. They have not found a reason yet. He just was allowed back to the US after deportation so was a week ago reunited back with his wife. He is a beliver in Christ, she is not yet. His name is Ezikel (ee-zee-kel) Cortez, her name is Maria. " |
"Praise Report: God is good! Tatiana Michael is still doing well, no allergies and athsma attacks reported since she and her parents relocated to Colorado. The climate change seems to be good for her. My father, Robert Williams is continuing to receive good reports from the doctor regarding his cancer condition. We're all believing that God has healed him, and not accepting anything less.
Prayer Requests: Please continue to pray for her parents Mike and Christina that God will open their eyes, rebuke the spirits of pride and arrogance blinding them, and that they will turn from atheism to the saving power of Jesus Christ soon, and for my Mother-In-Law, Wanda Michael for complete healing of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and leg clots.
I recently moved to be closer to my mom and dad, so please pray that God will provide a well-paying permanent position for me quickly, and for my husband when he joins me later." |

"Giving honor to God through his precious son Jesus Christ. I would like to be remember through my time of fighting a newly developed part of Cancer in the node of my stomach. At this point it is strictly up to God. The doctors can't do anything but continue to offer me chemo in which I'm taking in hope it will slow down the process of the cancer spreading. I thank the Lord for everything he does and has done for me in my life. I just pray that whatever his will is for my life that I'm ready to see God in peace. I'm so very thankful for his love and mercy he has shown to me by allowing me to have the peace he has given me. I truly appreciate the prayers that has been prayed for me in the past and the future prayers to be prayed. I thank the Lord for having sisters and brothers in Christ that love and care enough for the sick to call upon the Lord for prayer. "Praise Report: I want to give a praise report. About 35 days ago, I had submit a prayer request for my friend Marzan, who was under deep depression. But God hears and answered prayer, just a few days ago she was released from a psychiatric hospital. I saw her this afternoon and she seems back to normal and the doctor has stop all her anti-depression medication. Praise God! Please pray that the Lord will give her the strength to resist the temptation For if she resist the devil he will flee from her.

"Praise Report!! I called the prayer line on the morning of 4-18-08 about my husband's 2-yr old great niece Tatiana Michael, who was admitted to the dell Children's Hospital emergency room for a severe athsma attack and given a grim report by the attending doctor, saying he didn't expect her to live. God answered our prayers! She was released later that day and her parents got a forced apology from the doctor who gave the evil report. God revealed through Tatiana's previous physician that the attending doctor intentionally said things he knew was not true to scare the parents, and was unprofessional in his behavior.
Prayer Requests: please pray that God will completely heal Tatiana Michael of athsma and her severe allergic skin reactions, and that her parents Christina and Danny Lee "Mike" Michael will be saved. They are presently self-proclaimed atheists. Also pray for complete healing of my Mother-In-Law Wanda Michael and my father Robert Williams from cancer. They both are saved. " |
"As a single dad of two 11 and 5...and still married, I\'ve been holding on to the very promise of God expecting only his perfect will. after two years Mom seems to want to come home. there\'s been so many things that have happened and for most men I think a reconciliation would have been thrown out the window a long time ago. I love my wife and I can see her hurt, guilt...and apprehensiveness even now as she\'s showing more signs of returning. I need Gods help, his strength. I know he\'s allowed all this to show me who I really am but more importantly how to lead this family. my children have learned to know and seek the Lord, so much so that even at the young age they lift there hands in praise...and it\'s so awesome to see! it brings so much joy to me! still, the enemy hasn\'t stopped. I\'m being hit like I have been financially, physically...and some times with discouragement. I need prayer there too.
