The Silence of the Lambs

Intimacy:  Are you in to me, see?

You can either carry the burden of this world or the burden of the Lord – His yoke is light, His yoke is easy.  You’re going to carry one or the other.

Kabawd – the weighty, glory of the Lord.  What would happen if we were all to seek His face before we seek His hands.  Or seek His face without asking for anything.

Gen 32:1 .  Jacob.  Means sup planter.  He did whatever he had to do to get ahead except pay the price (which is pain).  God had to twist him out-of-shape to make him what He wanted.

What Jacob did:
1.            Substituted human wisdom for prayer.  Pr. 14:12, Ps 27:11.  There is a way that seemeth right to a man but leads to death.  There is a way of God.  Jacob chose the way of man.  Pain is the price and is the process of prophetic release. 
2.            Gen 32:3 .  Substituted numbers for prayer.
3.            Gen 32:5 .  Substituted wealth for prayer.  What if you were to worship Him without blessing?
4.            The bareness of busyness.  Substituted organization for prayer.


Only when Jacob did all that he could do that he prayed, when he had no other option at the point of no return.  PromiseLand – do not do the same.  Seek His face in prayer now.
