Opportunities To Serve:
In the Children's Ministry we are not only equipping the church of tomorrow, we are equipping the church of today! We believe that children -- even very young children -- have a deep spiritual capacity for absorbing the truth of God's Word. We count it a great privilege to plant the eternal Word into such fertile, rich soil!
The Children's Ministry is not about your skill level or even whether you "love children." It is about being obedient to the call of God! So listen for the call!
There are currently more than 70 individuals, with a wide variety of gifts, talents and levels of maturity and experience who are enjoying the incredible opportunity of touching the tender hearts of children with the eternal Word of God!
Some of the ministry positions available in all age groups are:
- Team Teachers...serve on the teaching team and are given the opportunity to teach small portions of the lesson as their skill level increases. We are in need of a Kinder teacher assistant, 2nd grade teacher.
- Lead Teachers...give overall direction to the classroom and implement curriculum with input from the Leadership Team. We are in need of a Kinder teacher assistant, 2nd grade teacher.
- Special Needs Buddies...work one-on-one with a child who needs extra attention because of physical, mental or emotional difficulties.
- Worship Zone Aides...helps the children sit during praise and worship, and the sermon, helps get items ready for the service.
- Administrative Teams...use skills, gifting, or simple availability to accomplish the myriad of tasks necessary to meet the needs for decorating, planning special events and more.
