If you were about to be attacked or robbed, would you rather have a living dog with you or a dead lion? A living seed is better than a field full of dead flowers.

A dead lion may look good on the wall, but it is not the outward appearance that God cares about.

God received plenty of dead sacrifices in the Old Testament.  In the New Testament, we are to be living sacrifices.

God is God of the living not the dead.  Don’t condemn people because they want to feel something at church.  They want to serve a God that can make them feel different in their spirits.

Don’t trust in the helpless or the dead.  If your god has not conquered death, hell and the grave, then your god cannot do anything to help you in your circumstance.  You can call on Buddha all you want, but he won’t be showing up to help you.

We need a living God that can help us overcome our guilt from yesterday and fear of tomorrow.

There are churches all over the U.S. that are beginning to leave dead religion.  They are finding that prayer is more important than programs.

The glory of God is man being fully alive: whole, healthy, sanctified, and living life abundant.

The enemy will use your wounds and disappointments to pin you down under a stronghold and steal your heart.  But you must guard your heart because out of it are the issues of life.  People often check-out emotionally and spiritually long before they check-out physically.

The enemy fights to take your heart.  But here’s the good news:  he would not fight against you if he did not fear you.

You being fully alive is better than all the patriarchs dead.
