 Bro. Phillips spoke about Sarah Palin, the GOP nominee for vice president.

 II Acts is about to be written and will be greater than I Acts.

 Acts 27:10-12 .  Listen to the preacher not the professionals.  They know some things but not about spiritual things.  They don’t know the weatherman, when to sail the ship, or when not to sail the ship.

 Don’t be given to peer pressure.  Don’t be given to fashion styles.  Stick to the 3-Ms: modesty, morality, and moderation.

 Sometimes it seems that people who leave the church are doing fine.  But it’s just the south wind blowing in their lives.  Their story isn’t over yet.   

2 Samuel 22:11 , Nahum 1:3 .  There is a Euroclydon coming, but the Lord has His way in the whirlwind.  

 Acts 27:14 .  There was a tempestuous wind called Euroclydon.  They were naming hurricanes in biblical times.

 Regarding movies, internet porn, homosexuality, and abortion: what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness?  

 Whiney, puny Christians have laid down their swords and taken up their pacifiers.

 All the terrible things that are happening in the world right now are just forerunners – John the Baptists – to the more horrible things that are coming.

 The four anchors of our lives: the Word of God, faith, the Holy Spirit, and fearlessness of circumstances.

 Get out of the back of the boat and into the front of the boat.
