Purpose and Mission

I - Intercede in prayer for Israel  
- Pray that the Jewish people realize that their shield and defender is the Lord
The Lord will give strength unto His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace   Psalm 29:11
- Pray with compassion and knowledge, in relation to current events in the land and the Jewish people
“Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces. For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, ‘Peace be within you.’ Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek your good.” Psalm 122:6-9

S - Show the compassion of Christ with tangible support through humanitarian projects in Israel
…for if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in material things Rom 15:27

R- Responsibility :  to support Israel’s right to the land 
Express our solidarity by making our voice heard, through petitoning our elected officials about the importance of standing with Israel. 
Promote events that challenge believers to stand with the Jewish nation and to understand :
-the potency of the threats that both Jews and believers face,
-the determination of the perpertrators and
-the ever present reason to stay alert, watch and pray

A - Align our ministry with God’s word  
Actively strengthening ties between Bible believing Christians and Israel.
Help believers understand the importance of embracing the Jewish side of our family [in Christ]
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee; and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed.  Gen 12 : 3
To stand with Israel is to stand with God !

E- Eternal significance of standing with Israel
Understanding prophecy with the unfolding of events in Israel, helps to connect the dots, as this tiny nation & her people are once again center stage at this crucial moment in history.

The Lord hath chosen Zion; He hath desired it for His habitation.  This is My resting place forever; here I will dwell for I have desired it. Psalm 132: 13 & 14

L - Love-in action      
We express our love for the Jewish people and the nation of Israel by learning and understanding the Biblical /Jewish customs and settings.  These insights make the Scriptures come alive in pictures and will open windows into our understanding Biblical context.  Respect and gratitude is cultivated when we remember our Jewish roots.
