Get the word out. Teach all these things. And don't let anyone put you down because you're young. Teach believers with your life: by word, by demeanor, by love, by faith, by integrity. Stay at your post reading Scripture, giving counsel, teaching. And that special gift of ministry you were given when the leaders of the church laid hands on you and prayed ... keep that dusted off and in use.

Every Sunday morning we have our youth service called 'Breakfast Club'. This is held in our educational building and breakfast is served to all teens that are hungry. Breakfast Club is an awesome time to connect with the teens because the atmosphere is so relaxed and kicked back! We eat breakfast go into praise and worship then get into the word, which varies from straight biblical teaching to a game show setting and back drop which includes 'sword drills', bible trivia, team projects, competitions, etc! The whole focus of Breakfast Club is learning the bible and we do whatever it takes to make sure the 'Devour the Word'

The passion and drive that the youth staff and myself carry is to see the teens of Austin, Texas become what Christ has destined them to become. We live to serve our kids and everything about our youth staff is servanthood. We are blessed with a youth staff ranging from 17 to 35 years of age. Our focuses at Teen Destiny are to love, befriend, encourage, strengthen, and lead by example. We are confident in what we do, who we are, and where we stand. We speak boldly of Christ and Him crucified..."Makin' no bones about our beliefs!" Nothing can compare to the power of the Holy Ghost and the change that takes place when He is received and we present this message to teens through the love and grace of Christ!!!

Being event coordinator for the youth group is great because we can do lots of fun things, but alos we can use our events to reach people for God and all I want to do is bless him. I hope that this year through youth events that we can bring the people in our youth group as well as others closer togother in a spiritual way.
