“For it is in giving that we receive . . .”
Care Ministries Vision
To provide Christian love, assistance and encouragement through linking volunteers with peoples needs.
Our Pastors will always be on the front lines of Care, especially during times of crisis. However, there are
many needs for on-going, one-on-one Care, than the pastors can effectively meet by themselves. A PromiseLand Care Minister walks alongside, listens, cares, prays, supports and encourages. The PromiseLand Care Minister equips lay members in providing confidential, one-on-one Christian care, to reach out with God’s love to people who are hurting.
Areas of Promiseland Care Ministries
- Sick Care Visitation Ministry
Visitation to those sick in their homes or in Care facilities to pray with them, offer support and bring blessings from the PromiseLand church.
- Meal Preparation Ministry
Prepares and distributes meals to families in crisis, in the hospital, after giving birth or death
of a loved one.
- Grief Care Ministry
Pray for individuals and their families, offering assistance as needed or as instructed by the
pastor(s) of PromiseLand. Will also keep periodic contact with them and ongoing prayer during their time of grief.
- Follow-Up Care Ministry:
Our goal is to follow-up on all prayer requests by calling each individual to see how their situation is progressing, to see if we can further assist in any way. Also, to encourage them, by sending encouraging notes and/or cards.
- Hospital Visitation Ministry
If you are going to the hospital for surgery or a serious illness, please let us know as soon
as possible.
