Intercessory Prayer Ministry

Nazarite Prayer Ministry

Jeremiah 51:20 "Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms"

Praying over a School shutdown. Back Open now! Thank you God! WIND CHANGERS!

We have various Leaders that are in prayer and agreement with the Prayer Leadership and Church Pastors. Our Prayer Officers are given direction on special projects, Pow Wows , prayer walks, and other special prayer assignments.

All officers have gone through a "required" protocol class which is available once a month for people that are interested in joining a Prayer team. If you are interested in becoming part of a Prayer team, it will be a requirement that you participate in a training class.

The Nazarite Prayer Ministry has grown from 4 intercessors to over 300 in the central Texas area with the Prayer Team Concept. Currently we have three Prayer Ministries:

  • The Ezekiel Prayer Ministry
    PromiseLand San Marcos, TX

    Prayer Pastor – Philip Hernandez

  • The Nazarite Prayer Ministry
    PromiseLand Church Austin, TX

    Prayer Pastor – Charlie Lujan

  • The Judah Prayer Ministry
    Mesquite, TX

    Prayer Pastor - George

Our prayer teams are developed from one prayer Leader into three teams of four. Accountability is emphasized from this network.

In order to keep prayer coverage established for prayer assignments, the Leader appoints three team leaders with four intercessors in each Team. This makes each Team no larger than 13 Intercessors.

What is a Protocol Class?

We have a chain of command that we follow and is emphasized in our operation of the Prayer Ministry.

Nazarites

We are very militant in our structure as a Team.  The protocol class teaches teams Loyalty to the Church and Operates in the Prophetic Order for the church in our Prayer sessions.  Protocol class enlarges the other prayer ministries that are modeled after the same order.

What is a Prophetic POW WOW?

Intercessors from the city and our prayer teams come together for Focused Prayer. We have POW WOWs for the church every first Monday of the month. During our POW WOWs, we have a "prophetic band" who leads us in worship and warfare.

Prophetic PowWows

God is equipping us with new weapons this season, leading us into new worship warfare for our church, our city, and our world. As we press forward a new sound, a fresh Prophetic voice has begun to rise. Answer the Call, Watchmen! Be part of intercessory network that is expanding worldwide. We are unified as one voice to cry out, to proclaim, and decree the Word of God over Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the uttermost parts of the world. Acts 1:8 .

The faith battle needs you!  Please join our radical intercessory "Actsion" as we move mountains and "turn the world upside down" once again.

What does this mean?

What does it mean to be a part of the Prayer Ministry? How can it it affect your life?

"In a small Fort Riley, Kansas prayer group, I began my journey with Jesus Christ and was filled with His Spirit. This was 32 years ago. Upon arriving in Austin I was baptized in Jesus' name and planted here at the World of Pentecost / PromiseLand for the last 29 years. I am a senior officer of the Nazarite Regiment, and receive e-mail prayer alerts through the PromiseLand Care Ministries.

Bishop Kenneth Phillips has always taught us the value of prayer. Being a part of these ministries I'm given the great opportunity to reach out around the world  John 3: 16 with prayers that avail much James 5:16 and touch the lives of people I've neither met nor seen. In our home, we have a special place (our prayer chamber) with a window facing the east 2 Chronicles 6:32 . We gather there for prayer and Bible reading.  I stand in the "gap for others" until they are able to stand on their own."

What an awesome opportunity we can have through prayer!
